Theremin

Theremin is an earlyelectronic musical instrument controlled without physical contact by the thereminist (performer). It is named after the westernized name of its Russian inventor, Léon Theremin, who patented the device in 1928.
The instrument's controlling section usually consists of two metal antennas which sense the relative position of the thereminist's hands and controloscillators for frequency with one hand, and amplitude (volume) with the other. The electric signals from the theremin are amplified and sent to aloudspeaker.

Figurino

Turim

Turin is well known as the home of the Shroud of Turin, the football teams Juventus F.C. and Torino F.C., the headquarters of automobile manufacturers FIAT, Lancia and Alfa Romeo, and as host of the 2006 Winter Olympics. Several International Space Station modules, such as Harmony and Columbus, were also manufactured in Turin. It was the capital of the Duchy of Savoy from 1563, then of the Kingdom of Sardinia ruled by the Royal House of Savoy and finally the first capital of the unified Italy.[13] It is often referred to as "the Capital of the Alps". Turin is also known as "the Automobile Capital of Italy" or the Detroit of Italy as it is home of FIAT; in Italy it is also called "[La] capitale Sabauda". https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXOTsHMyL8mgwukYH0IGvqPI_14PuzkAvl3lRBQVdNCCt1mrmnH8tk8mEc7Hu48r6NLyvn7gCjslLBoH6jbT61oQrabVSJVxy1QSdUUVbDJWvB5-axG8ISodPI84Cf4-lN65kd7w8z4l58/s640/Torino+Italy+7.jpeg

Octanas (combustível)

Octane rating or octane number is a standard measure of the performance of a motor or aviation fuel. The higher the octane number, the more compression the fuel can withstand before detonating. In broad terms, fuels with a higher octane rating are used in high-compression engines that generally have higher performance. In contrast, fuels with lower octane numbers (but higher cetane numbers) are ideal for diesel engines.

The Foucault pendulum

The Foucault pendulum (English pronunciation: /fuːˈkoʊ/ foo-KOH; French pronunciation: [fuˈko]), or Foucault's pendulum, named after the French physicist Léon Foucault, is a simple device conceived as an experiment to demonstrate the rotation of the Earth. While it had long been known that the Earth rotated, the introduction of the Foucault pendulum in 1851 was the first simple proof of the rotation in an easy-to-see experiment. Today, Foucault pendulums are popular displays in science museums and universities. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/82/Foucault-rotz.gif

Lindy Hop

The Lindy Hop is an American dance that evolved in HarlemNew York City in the 1920s and 1930s and originally evolved with the jazz music of that time. Lindy was a fusion of many dances that preceded it or were popular during its development but is mainly based on jazztapbreakaway andCharleston. It is frequently described as a jazz dance and is a member of the swing dance family.
In its development, the Lindy Hop combined elements of both partnered and solo dancing by using the movements and improvisation of black dances along with the formal eight-count structure of European partner dances. This is most clearly illustrated in the Lindy's basic step, the swingout. In this step's open position, each dancer is generally connected hand-to-hand; in its closed position, men and women are connected as though in an embrace.
Revived in the 1980s by American, Swedish, and British dancers, the Lindy Hop is now represented by dancers and loosely affiliated grass roots organizations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
